Feeding & Transitioning Guide
Fresh drinking water and shade should be available for your dog at all times.
The quantities below are meant as a rough guide. The correct amount of food will depend on your dog’s level of activity, breed, age and if they are overweight or underweight.
Small Dogs (1-10kg) 55-177 g/day
Medium Dogs (11-30kg) 177-368 g/day
Large Dogs (31-50kg) 368-517 g/day
Giant Dogs (51kg+) 517+ g/day
When switching dog foods, it is recommended that you introduce the new food gradually. Start by replacing 25% of their existing food for 2-3 days, then 50% for a further 2-3 days, then 75% for a final 2-3 days.

Rabbit
Rabbit is a great source of protein and vitamins! Rabbit has a higher protein content than other common meats. It is a novel protein which means it’s really good for tummies that are sensitive and dogs that might have allergies.
Potato
Easy to digest and protective to gastric mucosa; easily digestible energy and is rich in minerals, particularly potassium.
Grain-free foods with potatoes are quite often blamed for a high glycaemic index, while Pectin from apples fixes this problem. This is why we always put dry apples!
Cranberry
Cranberries can help to improve your dog’s bladder health, reducing the risks of UTIs. These tiny berries can also reduce tartar and plaque build-up leading to healthier gums. Additionally, the anti-bacterial benefits of Cranberries have even been known to help prevent cancer, among other illnesses and ailments.
Brewery Yeast
High in B vitamins to help calm nerves and reduce stress.
Brewer’s yeast is rich in antioxidants which can contribute to healthier skin and a glossier coat. Thanks to it’s high concentration of B-complex vitamins, this supplement also reduces stress and can help calm your dog’s nerves.
Vitamin B6 is responsible for creating the neurotransmitters Serotonin and Dopamine and is known to play a key role in mood regulation.
Dried Apple
Rich in fibres and pectin, improving gut health. Pectin plays a valuable role as a prebiotic food, which helps feed the probiotics in your dog’s gut. Probiotics are good bacteria that help keep your dog’s digestive system balanced.
Yucca
Helps to reduce the malodour associated with dog poo.
Yucca root has the potential to reduce swelling and inflammation in a dog’s digestive tract.
Yucca also boasts high numbers of saponins and polyphenolics which are thought to help reduce joint inflammation.
Peas
Good source of vitamins C and E, Zinc, and antioxidants.
Prebiotics
