How to Use Honest Pet Collective™
Health Monitoring Cat Litter for Optimal Results
1. Transitioning Period:
To switch to your new litter, add about 4 cm to the bottom of the box. If you use an automatic litter box that requires exact amounts, fill the box to 75% capacity with the new litter. Finally, sprinkle the top layer with approximately 1.25 cm of the old litter to encourage your cat to adjust.
2. Prepare the litter box:
Fill the box with a 5-7cm layer of Honest Pet Collective™ Health Monitoring Cat Litter. Place it in an area with low humidity to ensure the best performance of the silica gel crystals.
3. Daily Monitoring:
Observe the litter for any colour changes. These changes are an early indicator of potential health issues based on your cat’s urine.
4. Maintaining Cleanliness:
Each day, remove solid waste from the litter. Gently stir the litter to bring fresh crystals to the surface for ongoing odour control.
5. Monthly Maintenance:
After a month or when you notice a decrease in absorbency, it’s time to empty and clean the litter box completely before adding the new Honest Pet Collective™ Health Monitoring Cat Litter.
